Two questions, two instruments
AI Quick Scan
24–84 statements · 30 min to a half-day
Where do we actually stand with AI?
Six dimensions (strategy, use cases, data, platform, people, governance), scored by the people who would know, aggregated into one profile with the two or three things actually blocking progress and concrete next steps per dimension. Includes an EU AI Act check in plain language: what applies to you, and what has to be in place by when.
Best for a leadership team that needs a shared picture fast, and anyone unsure where the EU AI Act lands on them.
Full Tech Assessment
8 domains · 43 capabilities · 2–4 weeks
Where should the next euro of engineering capacity go?
Every capability is scored twice: what is demonstrably true today, and what your strategy actually needs. The finding is the gap, weighted by how central the capability is to your business, so you get a ranked plan instead of a wall of red. Interviews with the people doing the work, plus an anonymous survey across teams.
Best for a roadmap baseline, a second opinion on a plan, technical due diligence, or the “why does this keep happening?” after an incident.

Colour follows the gap, never the current score. Being a 2 is only a problem when you need a 4.
what you get
What you walk away with
A score you can defend
Anything scored 3 or higher needs an artefact: a document, a dashboard, a pipeline, a demonstrated action. A claimed 4 with nothing behind it is a 2, and the report marks where the evidence was thin.
A gap, not a grade
We score what you need alongside what you have. Being a 2 at cost management only matters if you need a 4. It is what ends the conversation where every capability should be a 5.
Where teams and management disagree
The same questions go to both. Where management says 4 and teams say 2, you have found either a communication failure or a reporting-line filter. Both are worth naming.
The spread, not just the average
One excellent team and five struggling ones should never read as moderate. You see the range across respondents, and the questions they answered furthest apart.
A sequenced plan
Ranked by gap × criticality: what to fix first, and why that order. Not a wall of red, and not a list nobody can act on.
A report you can circulate
In the browser and as a branded PDF, in English or Dutch, with the interview notes and evidence as an appendix.
the process
How a scan runs
01
Kick-off
30 minutes
Pick the scan and the unit of assessment: one team, a department, or the whole organisation.
02
Input
1 day to 3 weeks
Your people answer through their own link. For the full assessment we interview the people doing the work and run an anonymous survey across teams.
03
Readout
90 minutes
We walk your leadership through the picture, the disagreements, and the first three moves.
04
Again in six months
optional
Re-run the scan and the report shows the movement, dimension by dimension.
questions we get
Before you ask
- Who needs to be involved?
- For the quick scan: whoever can answer honestly, usually a handful of people across business and IT. For the full assessment: engineers, team leads, architects, ops, security and management. Below roughly 60% team coverage an aggregate score is not defensible, and we will say so rather than hand you a number that looks solid.
- Is the survey really anonymous?
- Yes. Team survey answers are only ever reported as medians and spread across everyone who took part. There is no per-person view, not even for us, and no personal report behind a survey link. The only thing we ask about the respondent is their role, so management and teams can be compared.
- What if the answer is inconvenient?
- You get it anyway. Scores of 3 and up need evidence, aspiration is scored as a 1 until something is running, and where the picture is thin the report says so. An assessment that only tells you what you hoped to hear is not worth commissioning.
